This detail shows the use of the TS214 Mini Frame to create a smaller panel for use at doorways, elevator entrances, etc. as either a soffit return or a jamb return. The TS201 Base Clip is installed first and the small return panel is inserted into its socket and the pre-attached TS203 Corner Clip provides the screw attachment to the substrate. The open socket of the TS203 Corner Clip receives the wall panel and positions the two panels in the correct joint condition. The dimension of the return panel is shown at 8" but this can vary according to job requirements.

The above detail applies when the return panel is to be inserted first. When the wall panel is installed first, utilizing TS212 Support Clips, the TS201 Base Clip will be placed at the bottom of the return panel and TS212 Support Clips will carry the return panel. The TS203 Corner Clip will be omitted and in its place, the TS204 Corner Clip will be pre-attached to the return panel and serve to align the quirk-miter joint in a proper and constant position.
