DETAIL 10 : SHOP-FINISHED FULL-MITER 1 1/2" AND 2 1/8" EDGE RETURNS
Details illustrate shop-assembled and shop-finished full-miter edge returns. The frames and clips are mechanically connected by screw. The stone return is adhesively bonded with epoxy and the joint is sealed with a matching color epoxy which creates a virtually invisible joint. This technique simulates a stone of much greater thickness.
