The sloping sill (12 degrees from horizontal) is pre-assembled in shop to the spandrel fascia panel. The return is 4" but can be increased by using different extrusion shapes.

This detail is shown with a shop-finished full-miter joint mechanically and adhesively bonded with matching color epoxy to create a joint which is virtually invisible. Alternate joint method is a typical 1/4" caulked joint.
